Welcome to my 100th post! In honor of this very special post, I am hosting a contest and giveaway. Yay for giveaways!
I got my very first mannequin for displaying my crochet hats and headbands last week and she needs a name, so I thought I'd let you help me.
The winner will get their choice of crochet headband from my shop. Any style or color you choose! If you don't see it in the shop, no problem!
Here's how it works:
*Contest will run until Sunday, May 16 at midnight.
*Include your name suggestions in a comment, and be sure to leave your email address so I can contact you if you win!
*Include your name suggestions in a comment, and be sure to leave your email address so I can contact you if you win!
*Suggest as many names as you like. There is no limit on how many times you can enter.
*You CAN leave multiple names per comment. You DO NOT have to leave a separate comment for each suggestion.
*I will choose the name I love the most on Monday, May 17, and will announce the winner at that time.
HINTS:
*I want a name that fits her look.
*I love names from classic literature.
*I also love funky names.
*I love originality.
I can't wait to see what you come up with:)
Good luck!
When I first saw "her" I thought of Sylvia or Sophie :)
ReplyDeleteI was thinking either Rose or Scarlett.

The first time I saw this lady I thought she was gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI think her name is Roxie Heart.
Im not being original. I vote for Satine also. That is the main character in Moulin Rouge. My favorite movie!!!
ReplyDeleteI can just hear her saying my name is Darling, in May West voice!!!
ReplyDeleteFrenchie Gauge or Purl Treble

She's definitely a saucy lady. Maybe Emma or Jane. Or Rose. Or Scarlett (but I know someone already had that). Maybe Sasha or Natasha. Or Olivia. So many choices! haha I know some of mine were repeats, so I won't take credit! Good luck choosing. Oh yah and my email is in my profile, but I think you have it too!
ReplyDeleteHi Sara! My iPhone ran completely out of charge today at work, and I'm just now getting home to finish what I wanted to post earlier.
ReplyDeleteThis lovely lady model is certainly unique and has a style of her own. (Love the curl!) She has the look of a flapper, maybe a bit of a vamp.... and really reminds me of the beautiful women in the movie Chicago. Of course she is so sweet underneath that street-wise exterior, she would never, ever hurt her man, much less kill him! That's why she makes me think of a much nicer version of Renee's character.... Roxie Heart!
She is a Jasmine! Let me think of a few others. . . Betty, Raquel, Ava, Meme LaRue, Hetty.
ReplyDeleteI will keep thinking on this one. Fun contest!

What an awesome giveaway (and I love how you are asking for name suggestions)!
ReplyDeleteI think you should call her Ingrid or Josephine! It seems to fit her (in my opinion anyway)!!!!
Another idea....Vianne.
ReplyDeleteSTELLA! She has that retro vibe to her, & Stella fits perfectly!
ReplyDelete(& did I mention already how much I LOVE those headbands?!?! If I don't win I am getting one anyways haha!)
I just can't seem to get over these classic french names for her ...
